The Waitomo Glowworm Cave is accessible to those with reasonable mobility and has good handrails and paths. Please wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking. Some areas of the cave can be wet and slippery. The Waitomo Glowworm Cave does not have wheelchair access; however, Ruakuri Cave is wheelchair friendly.
Please note: The Waitomo Glowworm Cave Visitor Centre is a cashless site. We strongly advise booking your tour online and bringing a contactless method of payment (credit card, Apple Pay, etc.) for the gift shop and cafe.
