Know Before You Go:
- Fitness: Blackwater rafting involves uneven terrain, climbing, and swimming in potentially cold water. A moderate to good level of fitness is required. Note that you’ll be in an environment that involves risks. We recommend that you can easily climb and descend a flight of steep stairs; if you have concerns about the level of fitness needed, please call, or email the team to discuss them.
- Health: If you have any pre-existing health conditions, including, knee or ankle issues, heart problems, asthma, or significant back or neck issues, consult your doctor before booking a black water rafting trip.
